Heritage Mural Tours

Downtown Vernon boasts one of the largest outdoor art galleries in Canada with 25 amazing murals that add colour and life to the downtown area. While these wonderful murals are beautiful to look at, they also hold many amazing stories from Vernon’s history. The paintings depict the history, culture, scenery, and folklore that made this city what it is today.

Guided tours with the Mural Conductor are available June 21st through August 25th, Monday – Friday at 9:00am and 11:00am or by request for a cost of $7.00 per person. Drop-ins are welcome. Self guided mp3 tours are also available from 9:00am – 3:00pm at a cost of $5.00 per person. All tours leave from the Old Train Station: 3101 29th Street, Vernon, just outside the DVA office.
