If you are like most new marketers you dread logging into your auto responder and seeing that you have dropped off list members due to them unsubscribing. However I am here to tell you three good excuses to look forward to getting unsubscribes.
The 1st is that you are in reality utilising your list. The only mode that i have ever witnessed to not get an unsubscribe is to never post an email. If you are not going to use the list why go to the effort and time to progress it. So pride your self when you get the unsubscribe as you are basically employing your list. The second thing is that someone is opening your e-mail. To unsubscribe they had to at least look at the e-mail and click the unsubscribe link. The good thing is that your strap line turned out good and made them to open your email. Now if you’re using devious headlines, ( You have won, your account status, and other headlines along those lines ) this is not a good matter and you are harvesting what you have sown. If you’re using a solid strap line that matches your e-mail and it gets opened this is a nice thing. Your title is doing its job.
The 3rd good reason to be pleased to get unsubscribes has to do with personality. Straight Off here is a shocker ( expounded with satire leaking from the keyboard ) not everyone is going to love you or your composing style.Those that do not will unsubscribe. The good thing though is that if they don’t care for your panache you will never grow a relationship with them. If you can’t form a kinship with them they will most probably never purchase from you. So each unsubscribe will make your list more targeted to folk who actually like your style and are more likely to reply positively to your offerings that meet their needs .
