PostHeaderIcon Purchasing eMail Selling Lists Yes Or No

Now that you’ve made a decision to embark on an e-mail campaign, your next task is to build amail selling list, but where do you get it from?  Many people succomb to the problem of ‘buying’ email promoting lists.  Don’t make the same mistake.

You’ve very likely seen the adverts that offer you millions of emails for a comparatively low cost, well if you fall for one of these adverts, you may end up labled as a ’spammer’ almost as swiftly as you send the e-mail.  Likely the overwhelming majority of the messages you send will finish up in ‘junk’ boxes, and you’ll harvest nil profit from your work.  A good seventy percent of the addresses you attempt to purchase are, in fact, fraudulent or have been cloned and the remaining thirty percent have not requested to receive your message.

Some people choose to ‘rent’ lists from various submission services, but this can end up costing from twenty to 30 cents per email.  What do you do?  Use these following ideas to find the ideas flowing and build your individual targeted list.  Remember, your primary goal has be to send emails to folks who actually wish to listen to you.

The big question,’where do you find these people?’ Your best shot is to start with diverse promoting methods and focus on your web traffic.  Below you will discover a list, lent by an existing email selling corporation, of things that may ensure your email marketing list is productive.

Your web page, request individuals join your guestbook your online electronic magazine your newsletter, your offer for a free report or book and any contest that you have to offer.  Be certain and put this opportunity on every page of your internet site.

Try Direct-Mail promoting, mail out flyers or postal cards to all possible clients. When you design your post cards, be sure to request that folks visit your internet site and sign on to get valued information and relevent messages.

Think About Telemarketers, consider using a telemarketing program or telemarketing agent to make contact with your possible clients.  Request that your telemarketers require email addresses ( it’s a good idea to supply incentives for having customers give out their e-mail address ex. contest, free trials, etc.).

Consider using a Broker, request web sites that provide brokerage services, with heavy traffic, to link to your service and offer sign up for information.  Most brokers will supply this service for a median of $.10 to $.15 per email message.

Get out There and Hoof It, this is a great chance for scholars that are off in the summertime.  Then scholars door-to-door, offering information exchange for e-mail addresses.

Think about Hosting an online Contest, open contests are intensely acceptable way to get email addresses.  On contest entry forms request email addresses as method of approval for contest entry.

Get Physical, if you operate a physical store, be certain and request the clients offer you their e-mail address at the checkout.  You might also want to consider sending out surveys through the post and running additional contests to get access to shopper contact information.

As you can see there’s more than a way to ’skin a cat’ when you need names for your email marketing campaign.  You don’t have to resort too buying email promoting lists.

PostHeaderIcon Learn How An Online Business Works

With the horrible economic state and jobs being lost across the US, home based businesses are on the rise. People are fed up with the corporate world and are turning to online resources to start a business. Can the internet really provide a viable business? Historically we have seen the internet do amazing things and we have also seen it crash. Will there be another “Dot Com” crash? Well, sure there could be, but is that going to keep you from trying to tap into the multi-billion industry of ecommerce and web related opportunities? I know I wouldn’t.

Before you start an online business, consider the following;

  • Do you have money to start an online business?
  • Do you know anything about internet marketing?
  • What products will you sell?
  • Do you have your own products or will you sell other’s products?
  • How much money does your online business need to generate before you can quit your job?
  • Is your spouse or partner open-minded and willing to support you?
  • How many hours do you have to dedicate to an online business every week?
  • Will you have a partner or do it all yourself?
  • Do you have a business license?
  • Do you have any resources; web designers, marketing staff, programmers, etc?
  • Are you self motivated or do you need support?
  • Do you get bored easily?
  • Do you have any prior experience running a business?
  • Who is your competition?
  • Can you beat your competition?
  • And the list goes on…

Starting an online business is not much different than a starting a physical business. Although the costs can most times be much cheaper, the dedication and business strategies still apply. Many Online Marketers who claim to be Gurus, make the process of making money online sound so easy. The truth is, it takes time, dedication, persistence and so much more. The average business owner will fail after just 2-3 years. The average internet marketer will give up after 6 months to 1 year. It’s easier to give up on an online business because you don’t have a store front and employees. Most online business start as sole proprietors out of a home office or garage. It’s so easy to walk away from yourself and your home office then to dump a physical building with employees. The reality is, the two models are the same, yet people just treat them differently.

Starting your online business.

The best way to start an online business is to start with your hobbies. What do you really love to do in your spare time? What things do you know more about than most people? Is it photography, sports, knitting, wood carving, surfing, fashion, etc.?  Make a list of the three things you are interested in most and use that to build some ideas. Start with Amazon and checkout the magazine section. What magazines exist on your interests?  Also do some Google searches for your hobbie(s) and see what comes up. Keep in mind that other businesses who are already making money on your interests may have been around for awhile and have the authority in the market. How will you become the authority?

Do you have what it takes?

Starting an online business has many channels. When I say channels, I mean skills such as web design, coding, marketing, etc.? Do you have these skills or a team of people that you can tap into? It’s important to know that online businesses come with technical headaches. Everything from server problems, bugs in the code, hackers trying to take down your website, etc. The list of technical nightmares can go on forever so be prepared. If you are working with a team of talent, how will you mange them? You’ll need time to make phone calls, exchange emails and much much more. If you are expecting to fire your boss, how will you organize your business during the first stage?  This can be very challenging, so many people turn to virtual assistants and lead programs. You may need to get an extra phone line in your home office that can take voice mails any time of day.

Get Your Own Website

When you start your online business you will need your own website. It’s a good idea to have your own business branded website. Whether you have 10, 20 or 100 different websites, you still need a main business website with identifiable branding. Branding is everything when it comes to business and online ventures. If you hide under the radar and no one knows who you are because you mysteriously make websites late at night in your basement, you really have a lesser chance of success. So many people are afraid of putting their faces online and letting people know who they really are. Don’t be afraid of getting online and building your brand, this is what will make you more successful in the long-run.

Be the Professional

Be a professional 100% of the time and you will succeed. Even if you start a business based around your hobby and you don’t know everything there is to know, you can fake it. Haven’t your heard the famous line, “Fake it until you make it.” This goes for any business and everyone does it. There will always be times when you can’t answer every question and that is okay. You can always get back to your customers by phone or email at a later date. Thanks to the world wide web, you can find load of info online. You can ask questions on sites like Yahoo Answers or Google Groups. Your online business venture will include getting involved in message boards, so you will have an army of resources to rely on, when you need help. Don’t let a few bits of missing information stop you from looking like the guru, the answers are only a few clicks away.

Do you know your competitors? Do the research!

When you first start your online business, you will need to do a ton of research. Find out what your competitors are doing online. What kind of promotions do they have? Who is their target market? Are they doing any paid advertising on Google, Yahoo, or MSN? What kind of products do they sell? Can you offer something better?  These are all important things to consider. Being successful online is all about finding a good niche/market and beating the competition with better products and creative advertising methods. When they are walking through the front door, you will be walking in the back door with your bag of tricks. You’ll know everything about them, but they know nothing about you and then you dominate take over. I can’t stress enough how important it will be for you to do good market research and discover everything you can about your target market and competition. Taking the time will determine how successful you really are online.

Conclusion

Starting an online business can be challenging at times, but with the right research, time and well though out marketing plans, your business can be a success. The goal is to never give up and be persistent. Remember that successful people take action, they don’t wait for things to happen. Starting an online business is both exciting and scary at the same time, but one thing is for sure, it can be more profitable than any day job you’d have otherwise. Opportunities online are endless, it’s just a matter of finding the one that fits you!

PostHeaderIcon Downsized? Earn Cash While You Look For Your Next Job

Have you recently been downsized?

Have you found that it’s very difficult to find another job in this recession?

Current Situation

If so, you’re in good company.  December 2007 marks the official beginning of this recession, and since then, more than 5.7 million jobs disappeared during this recession.  According to the Associated Press (AP), after the May 8th release of the April, 2009 unemployment numbers:

  • 13.7 million people were unemployed in April, 2009, and that was the largest number since 1948
  • 539,000 jobs were lost in April alone
  • 8.9% unemployment (the highest since September, 1983), but if workers who’ve been laid off and just given up or taken part-time work, are included, that number jumps to 15.8% – the highest since 1994

If you’ve been unemployed for more than a month, you may be feeling frustrated, angry, depressed, or maybe even a little panicky as you watch the pages of the calendar turn, with still no job on the horizon.  You’re probably also concerned about longer term issues such as figuring out how to send you kids to college or fund your retirement.

There are basically three options in this situation:

  1. Panic
  2. Keep doing what you’ve been doing (the same things that haven’t yet found you a new job), or
  3. Try something different

Option 1:  Panic

The first option, panic, is entirely counter-productive, and should be avoided at all costs.A little fear is a good thing; it can even help us save our lives in dangerous situations, by engaging the fight or flight response.Unlike a little fear, panic overloads our circuits and degrades our ability to respond to the crisis at hand.

Option 2:  Continue Doing What You’ve Been Doing

If doing what you have been doing had been successful for you, you wouldn’t be reading this article right now.If you keep doing the same-old, same-old, you’re going to end up in the same place that you already are.

Although there seems to be a little bit of a light at the end of this recessionary tunnel, good people I know have still been unemployed for six months or more. After jumping through all the required hoops (e.g., answering help wanted ads, sending out tons of resumes), what results have they achieved?Zero.

In this recession, people aren’t even getting callbacks about jobs they’re qualified for.

Option 3:  Try Something Different

The third option – do something different – seems to be the only plausible solution.  Where should you begin looking when you have so many possibilities?

Might I suggest that you start a home business .

  • Take control of your income; don’t let your boss or your company determine whether you have a paycheck coming in.
  • Don’t let your job keep you from spending quality time with your family and friends.

Take charge of your financial future; become your own boss!  Start an online business!

The home-based business industry accounts for approximately $427 billion annually and provides many tax benefits, more control over your time, your work, and your money.  Using the Law of Large Numbers, like insurance companies do, you can minimize your income risks during this recession.Insurance companies spread their loss risks over a huge number of customers.

Starting an online business will let you reach thousands, and millions, of prospects allowing you to spread your recessionary risks across multiple people, regions and countries.  Thus, you would also be increasing the stability of your new revenue streams and increasing the likelihood of ensuring your family’s financial security.while building a quality life

PostHeaderIcon What Is CPA Marketing All About?

I will not say that everyone who reads this overview knows precisely what CPA marketing is all about and so I will start with a fast explanation that highlights exactly what CPA marketing is, and how to use it to make money from it.

CPA (cost per action) is also known as PPA (pay per action) and is an online marketing opportunity that pays you based on a specific structure or model. For example, if you participated in CPA offers, you would be paid every time a website visitor completed a specific action, for example registering on a domain, filling out a form, signing up for an offer, or perhaps just visiting a selected domain.

The actions that a visitor has to take regularly range between a one time e-mail registration to more in-depth form processing including three, 4 page surveys, application forms as well as downloading demos, screen savers, software and scripts.

While CPA offers change and the requirements associated with beingcredited for an ‘action’, there are a sufficiency of good paying CPA programs and offers who you can become entangled in.

It’s, in reality, one of the easiest ways to generate cash on the internet with not a lot of effort in comparison with plenty of the standard marketing campaigns and offers.

A lot of CPA Companies pay out somewhere from $.25 right up to $4.00 for a single email opt-in form, with other CPA opportunities paying commissions as much as $150.00 for a multi-part process or lengthier need where your visitor may has to verify their address, accept a free trial offer and on occasion, your commission will only be credited weeks later after your visitor has finished the actions.

As an example, an advertising firm offers the CPA program that which you have joined $10 for each lead generated as a consequence of their members requirements. In turn, the CPA network pays you 70% of that, earning $3 for connecting you with the advertisers.

In order to start getting paid with CPA opportunities, you have to join a handful of CPA based networks. There are networks available on the internet that house a large number of different CPA opportunities, enabling you to enroll into one network and having the opportunity to participate in multiple programs from many different companies.

CPA networks work as the agent, bringing advertisers and affiliates together, and sometimes coordinates the placement of offers from participating publishers and firms with internet marketers, for a small commission or share of the offer itself.

Once you have been accepted from a CPA network, you’ll receive an unique affiliate link, just as you would if you did join an affiliate program.

This affiliate link identifies you as as an affiliate marketer for the chosen offer and tracks all of your sales and in exchange, provides you with conversion rates and other information that can help you determine how well your traffic generations are doing.

The CPA program itself takes care of all the tracking, where your account information is stored. One of the finest things about working with a CPA program is that you are able to promote several CPA offers, covering a wide range of niche markets and receive one paycheck for all of your commissions combined.

Furthermore, a lot of CPA networks will delegate an agent to assist you in getting started as well as answer any questions you could have during your initial training period.

Every CPA network offers different opportunities, with the more preferred programs offering up to 1,500 different offers in their database at any given time.

Furthermore, nearly all of the CPA networks supply you with all of the promotional media that you need, including email campaign, banners, graphic ads, ad copy and text advertisements.
